In the Euro 2024 qualifier against Luxembourg on November 17, Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to help Portugal win 5-0. This was also CR7’s 200th match wearing the national team jersey.
In minute 8, after a corner kick, Ronaldo rose high to head home the opening goal for Portugal. Then in minute 13, he doubled the lead from the penalty spot after a foul inside the box.
With 2 goals, the 37-year-old superstar has brought his total goals for the national team to 117. This was also a special milestone on the day he was honored for having played 200 matches for the national team.
