After a brief commercial break in Monday night’s 34-13 Michigan victory over Washingtоn, ESPN’s Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit focused on a skybox suite that contained several influential athletes and music producers.
During the network’s coverage of the NCAA football championship game, the box was packed with superstars such as Michael Jordan, Derek Jeter, Stephen A. Smith, Travis Scott, and many more.

Laughter and smiles spread across Jordan’s face as Jeter and Smith embraced and slapped hands, with Herbstreit adding his own brand of enthusiasm to the mix.
The color commentator exclaimed, “That’s the box to be in!” as he named off additional famous faces gathered around Jordan, Jeter, Smith, and Scott. “Everyone’s in there with them.”
Growing up in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area, Jeter has always been a huge supporter of the Michigan Wolverines’ athletic programs. Even though he skipped college and signed with the New York Yankees’ team right out of high school, the former Wolverine baseball player was also recruited to play for the Wolverines.
Prior to being picked by the Chicago Bulls, Jordan played basketball at UNC. Last week, the University of Texas football team lost to Washingtоn in the College Football Playoff semifinal round. Smith went to Winston-Salem State University, while Scott went to UT.
In the midst of a gathering of sports greats on Monday night, Scott got to see a little retribution as Michigan defeated the Huskies 34-13 to claim the NCAA title, the school’s first since 1997.
After the game, the Wolverines’ players hailed the 15-0 season as the “perfect ending” to the team’s troubled run that began with an off-field sign-steаling scаndаl.
Regardless, the players, coaches, and supporters of Michigan were ecstatic to finally win the NCAA title.
Tom Brady, a former quarterback for the Wolverines, expressed his “so proud” of the current squad on Instagram. When Michigan last won the NCAA Championship in 1997, Brady, who is now 46 years old, was the team’s backup quarterback. Griese was the starting quarterback.
